Effect of Lime Stone & Cement on the Mechanical Properties of Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA)

Most of the roads in Iraq are paved using Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA) which is consisted aggregates, asphalt cement and filler. In this study a laboratory investigation conducted two types widely used fillers highly locally available. Four different proportions are. Filler four proportion (i.e., 1.9%, 2.5%, 3.5%, 4.5%) by total weight aggregate for both used. These were blended with penetration 40/50 Performance Grade (PG70-10) super-pave mix design methodology. The performance bitumen binder filler was evaluated by: Penetration, Ductility, Softening Point, Penetration Index, Volumetric properties, Indirect Tensile Strength Ratio. volumetric properties indicate that, (1.9%, 2.5%) type within Super-pave criteria as ITS increased increase content highest TSR values 2.5% Limestone dust 90%, while 3.5% Cement 89.7%. Finally, it concluded that HMA influenced amount content.
